Tatiana Goudas

My name is Tatiana Goudas and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Patras, in the Department of Mathematics. Being a high school student in the post 2009-Greece helped me form a multidimensional point of view for societal change and generated my interest to explore the root causes of social pathogeny from an early age. My participation in my first simulation, Euroscola Strasbourg 2014, gave me the opportunity to argue with peers from abroad and gain perspective on burning issues of our times.

In September of 2015 I set out for my journey in Mathematics, a science that excites me as much as politics. As an undergraduate student, I have participated in almost ten U.N., E.U. and Regional Simulations, my most recent being ThessISMUN 2017. It is with great pleasure to be part of FredMUN 2017 family and more specifically part of the Crisis team. I consider preparedness and responsiveness to be necessary qualities of a good leader and the ability to tackle with a crisis a difficult process that demands the combination of effective teamwork and substantial individual effort. I would like to welcome you to the crisis team with a quote by J.F.K “In Chinese the word “crisis” is composed of two characters -one represents danger and the other represents opportunity” and wish you all an enthusiastic MUN experience.
