George Zadellis

Dear delegates of FREDMUN,

My name is Zadellis Georgios and I am from Athens. I am 22 years old and I am a 4th year student of Law at Democritus University of Thrace. During my student years, I have worked as a trainee lawyer and I have participated in several international simulations (MUN, UNESCO) not only in Greece (Athens MUN 2011-2013, Simulation of UNESCO 2011-2012), but also in United Kingdom (simulation hosted by Oxford University), in Cyprus (simulation hosted by Frederick University) and in Turkey (simulation hosted by Yeditepe University).

Apart from my participations in several MUN, I am particularly fascinated by literature. I have received a significant number of awards and distinctions both from the National Writers Union and from the student literary competitions hosted by Arsakeio Schools. I am a writer of three poetry books and articles about history of international relations and diplomacy. In 2010, the National Union of Writers delivered me the first National Literary Award for a short story.

In FREDMUN 2017 I have the honor to participate once again as the Chair of ECOSOC. I am really excited for this new upcoming event taking place in Cyprus at Frederick University! More specifically, I am eager to do my best, since FREDMUN is the only simulation in Cyprus organized under the auspices of the United Nations!

See you all in Nicosia! FREDMUN is coming!
